As a social entrepreneur, youth/community outreach, and event management consultant, Le’Kedra has proven herself to be a leader of distinction and character.  The Founder/President of the Milne Inspiration Center (MIC-AMPED), she is committed to increasing opportunities and decreasing unproductive behaviors that often lead youth to crime through arts, culture, education, and social entrepreneurship.
 

As the Milne Inspiration Center founder, she has provided 500 + young people, from 8 cities, and in 4 countries (US, South Africa, Uganda, and Zimbabwe) with extensive quality leadership experiences and exciting culturally collaborative learning opportunities.  Over the years she has focused on creating more globally aware urban communities where youth of color are able to compete socially and economically.  In 2017, she left to create new opportunities rarely provided to at-risk youth in America and in the Africa Diaspora.  Upon Undertaking the many risks of moving to a new country and continent, she successfully created a prosperous platform designed to infuse modern globalization into the lives of vulnerable youth of color.

 

In 2018, she was honored to serve as a Mandela-Washington Reciprocal Fellow in Harare, Zimbabwe, in partnership with Jibilika.  She has also been recognized as an “Everyday Hero” in New Orleans.
